If you lost the CD shipped with the mount then unfortunately we're sorry but we cannot accommodate your license request at this time.
You must still own the Astro-Physics mount that included the Astro-Physics CD with the Astro-Physics PEMPro license being used to request a PEMPro V3 license.
Use of this license will require an Astro-Physics mount with GTOCP4/5 controller. If you have a GTOCP1/2/3 controller you can purchase a GTOCP4 control box from Astro-Physics.
Full functionality will be activated by connecting to your Astro-Physics mount one time on each computer on which the license is used.
If you are an individual user, you are granted use of PEMPro V3 on up to 5 (five) of your own personal computers for as long as you own the mount for which the original license (on the CD case included with the mount) was issued.
If you are an individual user, no other user is licensed to use PEMPro V3 unless permission is granted from Sirius Imaging LLC. Please email apv3 (AT) siriusimaging (DOT) com to request permission.
If the mount was purchased by a small business, corporation or university, installation of PEMPro V3 is authorized on 1 (one) main computer and one backup computer. To install on more computers additional licenses may be purchased from CCDWare at a discount.
If you sell the Astro-Physics mount to which an A-P license applies then you agree to discontinue use of any installations of PEMPro V3 using the license generated for that A-P license. The license can be transfered to the new owner for a modest fee.
The developer of PEMPro, Sirius Imaging LLC, reserves the right to deny any license request originating from any Astro-Physics PEMPro V2 license provided on a CD with Astro-Physics mounts, or otherwise created.

Some other details
If you are not the original owner of your mount then please contact Astro-Physics to make sure they have the correct name assigned to your mount and its serial number. If this has not been done it may delay issuing of your V3 license.
Depending on how long it takes for validation, licenses will usually be generated and emailed to you within one business day, and often within a few hours.
Licenses issued include free updates to PEMPro V3 for at least one year.
Once you get a license and enter it into PEMPro, it will operate as normal except:
You won't be able to connect to any other mount until you validate that you have the approriate Astro-Physics mount (i.e., the mount must be using a GTOCP4 or GTOCP5 controller.)
To validate, no internet connection is required, but PEMPro will need to send a few commands to confirm that the mount is an Astro-Physics mount.
To do this you will need to create an Astro-Physics mount instance in PEMPro V3 using PEMPro's Mount Wizard, and connect to your mount. Once done, your license is validated on that computer forever and you will be able to connect to any other mount, including older Astro-Physics mounts. You will need to do this once on every computer on which you install PEMPro V3 and use the V3 license key that will be generated with this system.
